Tips for using your Pumaboard

Pedal mounting

Adhesive-backed Velcro (which I sell) works well with the Formica tops. Just remember that the adhesive needs 24 hours to reach its full bonding potential. Also, when placing your pedals, pushing them down and twisting them back and forth a little "locks" them into place quite nicely. Of course "hard mounting" with screws is always an option as well.

Cable routing

This is a very personalized thing. Some guys prefer to have all their cables on top where they can see them or change them easily, while others like to drill holes for each pedal and route everything underneath (this makes for a very clean board). If you have chosen for me to add a hole and grommet to the top, cables can be run through there. If you drill your own holes and decide to make changes (or for any reason you need or want a new top), I can set you up with a replacement.

Power supply mounting

With room to mount a power supply underneath a Pumaboard Classic, many techniques for mounting are available. Personally, I have been using a couple of Vel-cro straps stapled to the board with a piece of Velcro in between them. It works great, and it's easily removed or changed. Just let me know if you need Vel-cro straps and I'll set you up at no charge.
